For people with disability, as well as their carers and family members, it may be difficult to navigate the NDIS community at first. The NDIS is all about community connections so that you can find the support that you need within your local community.
To give people a chance to connect with others, and help them be more independent, NDIS has a webinar on 23 July 2026 on Community Connections. This webinar is open for all people living in Australia who have a disability (regardless of visa or citizenship status). It doesn’t matter if they are an eligible NDIS participant, people with disabilities aged between 9 to 64, may join Community Connections.
During the webinar, the NDIA Community Connections will be discussed. You can also learn practical information about different conditions and disabilities, how to connect with other people who may be having the same experiences as you, and ways to get support from community and mainstream services.
