The Australian Government is placing importance on high-quality therapies and has a new $20 million national pilot program for them. NDIS providers are going to help in informing how these therapies should be priced in the future through insights and feedback.

According to reports, 465,000 participants are accessing therapy supports, and they actually account for about 10% of NDIS spending. The Australian Government aims to provide value for money for NDIS participants while also keeping disability service providers viable.
The 12-month NDIS Quality Supports Program Therapy Pilot involves 27 registered disability service organisations that offer supports such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy through regional and remote delivery.
