The Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) data provides insight into the type of dwellings a community already has and, more importantly, what it needs. It can show SDA eligibility decisions and design categories per region. This can help in drawing conclusions about whether the SDA being built in a certain region actually matches the design category participants are funded for.
The Dwelling Enrolment Data shows the number of dwellings in a region, including basic dwellings, improved livability dwellings, high-physical dwellings, robust dwellings, and fully accessible dwellings. It can also show the SDA decisions in the same area, making it easy to see if there is an undersupply or oversupply within each dwelling category.
With the SDA data, it’s easier to keep track of unfinished project data and what dwellings need to be built in each region.
