According to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, the Freedom Care Group Pty Limited’s registration has been revoked. This company is now permanently banned from ever providing services and support to people who have disabilities and are in the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
This is due to the joint investigation between the NDIA and NDIS Commission, identifying Freedom Care Group to have claimed around $340,000 for NDIS services and supports, yet they did not deliver to incarcerated people. The Fraud Fusion Taskforce enabled the investigation.
The revocation of Freedom Care Group’s registration as well as the permanent ban came into effect on the 19th of March, 2025, Friday, at 5 PM.
