According to reports, 22% of NDIS participants are 9 years old and under. Care providers need to take note, as the NDIA will be rolling out Thriving Kids, which is a community-based early support program for children who are under 8 years of age. This will be fully active by 1 January 2028; however, a phased rollout will start this year on 1 October.
