A major update is on the way to help NDIS providers better track billable hours through improved time logging and case note management. This change is part of CareVision’s broader preparations for the Support at Home program, which places a stronger emphasis on accountability, transparency, and accurate service delivery reporting. Soon, CareVision will roll out enhanced features that link time tracking directly to client case notes, helping coordinators and administrators more accurately log and claim time spent on both planned and unplanned activities.
Planned activities include structured tasks such as assessments, reviews, and calendar-based bookings, while unplanned ones refer to time spent on care that arises unexpectedly and is reported via case notes. Both types will soon be billable when time is properly logged.
Key updates include:
• Time logs linked to case notes, triggering ad hoc bookings automatically
• Target weekly log and billable hours settings for employees
• Notifications for staff who haven’t met targets
• A new dashboard to track hours by funding source
• Mobile app access for logging and managing timesheets
• Billable time flagged across various activity types (e.g., travel, leave, shifts)
These improvements are designed to streamline billing, reduce admin overhead, and help ensure your NDIS claims are accurate and compliant.
Stay tuned for the official launch, and get ready to make the most of these features. For questions or early access options, please reach out to our support team.
