To ensure the NDIS markets can deliver high-quality and sustainable supports for its participants, the NDIA has set a 3-year pricing work plan. This work plan will detail evidence-based reviews, which will inform pricing decisions as well as timeframes. The aim is to provide both participants and providers with clarity. This is developed with the Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
For the 1st year (2025 to 2026), the foundations for future pricing design will be determined. For the 2nd year (2026 to 2027), the pricing approaches will then be designed and tested. Finally, in the 3rd year (2027 to 2028), this will be for implementation and refinement.
