Ageing Australia has announced the winners of the 2025 Innovation Transforming Aged Care (ITAC) Awards, celebrating groundbreaking contributions in aged care, seniors housing, and retirement living.

The winners were revealed at the ITAC Conference Dinner at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, on March 12, 2025. The event honoured individuals and organisations driving positive change and innovation in the sector.

Tom Symondson, CEO of Ageing Australia, commended the winners for their forward-thinking solutions that improve care outcomes and enhance the quality of life for older Australians.

“This year’s winners have demonstrated how innovation can transform aged care—whether through data-driven insights, workforce development, new technologies, or research advancements,” Symondson said.

Capacity Building Award: BaptistCare – Strengthening aged care workforce skills and community empowerment.

Research & Development Award: Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) – Advancing knowledge to improve aged care services.

Technology Transformation Award: Umps Health – Innovating care delivery through technology.

Symondson praised all entrants for their dedication to improving aged care, stating that their contributions are setting new industry benchmarks.
