Disability Employment Services, or DES, was a program that supported Australians with disability, or those who have injuries or health conditions, to gain employment. On 1 November 2025, this program has been replaced by Inclusive Employment Australia, which is a new specialist disability employment program.
With this new program, people who have disabilities, injuries, or health conditions will be assisted to not just find work but also prepare for and maintain work, as well as grow their careers. Inclusive Employment Australia aims to place the participants at the heart of the service, improving and simplifying services for those who are looking for work and also the employers plus service providers.
