Thousands of Australians are suffering from low vision, and this issue can cause a person to lose independence. One of the ways to help people with low vision is to get a guide dog. The NDIA has provided a Dog Guide Provider List so participants may have clear provider information and access to dog guide services.

Dog guide funding can be provided to eligible participants, and the list provided by the NDIA can help them get transparent terms, conditions, and service agreements. It can also help them compare the different available supports so they can bake an informed decision.
Providers on the list are registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and accredited with the International Guide Dog Federation. To know more about choosing a dog guide provider, visit ndis.gov.au.
