What an incredible few days it’s been on the Gold Coast for the 2025 Ageing Australia National Conference! With more than 2,370 attendees, 220 exhibitors, and 100+ sessions, this year’s event was one of the largest and most inspiring yet.

Centred on the theme Meeting the Moment, Shaping the Future, the conference celebrated progress, purpose, and collaboration across the aged care sector. From visionary keynotes to thought-provoking panels, delegates explored the opportunities ahead for reform, technology, workforce development, and innovation in care delivery.

Day One opened with strong discussions on the new Career Pathways Framework and the power of collaboration to meet the challenges of reform.

Day Two invited deeper exploration, with delegates co-creating ideas through global perspectives, interactive panels, and the Continuum of Ageing 2050 project.

Day Three closed with reflection and resolve, featuring Layne Beachley AO’s inspiring keynote on resilience and leadership—reminding everyone that transformation begins when vision meets collective action.

A highlight of the event was the Trade Exhibition, where exhibitors and sponsors showcased cutting-edge products, technologies, and ideas shaping the future of aged care. The energy, creativity, and innovation on display reflected the shared purpose driving our sector forward.

As we look ahead, one message stands clear: together, we are meeting the moment with courage and shaping the future of ageing in Australia.
