To make planning not just easier but also fairer for NDIS participants, the Australian Government is testing a new way of planning. Valuable feedback from the NDIS Review, as well as the disability community can help in making changes in the NDIS.
On 19 August 2026, the NDIA will host an online community forum where NDIS participants can be heard. This session also welcomes advocacy organisations, peer support networks, and the kin, carers, and families of NDIS participants.
NDIA representatives will discuss what the testing is all about and why it is being done. There will also be talks on what participation involvement is like and how feedback will be utilised. There will also be a live Q&A after the panel discussion.
