Ageing Australia will host a virtual executive forum on 30 July 2026, bringing together board directors, CEOs and senior leaders to examine governance responsibilities under Australia’s new aged care legislation. The event will focus on helping providers strengthen accountability, manage risk and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
The program features expert-led sessions covering governance six months after the new Act, digital governance, cyber security, workforce strategy, financial sustainability and clinical oversight. Attendees will also explore the growing role of advisory boards and the governance opportunities and risks they present in a highly regulated sector.
Designed for aged care executives and board members, the forum aims to provide practical guidance, real-world insights and strategies to help organisations build strong governance frameworks and deliver sustainable, high-quality care.
